Product case study
Porchlight
Sales follow-through for home
and outdoor businesses.
Porchlight grew out of our work with a sauna business. Buyers of saunas, spas, and outdoor structures ask detailed questions before they are ready to talk, and quotes often go quiet. We designed, built, and launched a product that answers those questions, prepares the handoff, and follows up, so the team spends its time on conversations that are ready.

Porchlight in use
01The buyer asks
The assistant answers from the dealer’s approved information, is clear about what it can’t confirm, and offers times for a project call.
02The brief arrives
The team gets the booking with a written brief: the project, site, budget, timing, and what still needs a professional check.
03The team follows through
New inquiries and follow-ups on past leads and quotes sit together in one workspace, with the context to take over.
Product captures with sample data: Salisbury Saunas is a demonstration business.
What we built
Four parts,
one handoff.
- 01
A website assistant that helps buyers plan
Answers project questions from information the business has approved, and gathers the details a salesperson needs: the space, access, power, timing, and budget.
- 02
A prepared brief for every serious inquiry
Each conversation becomes a structured lead brief that separates what the buyer said from what still needs confirmation.
- 03
Follow-up on past leads and quotes
Recovery reaches back out to quiet leads and open quotes by email, and brings replies into the same place as new inquiries.
- 04
One workspace for the team
New inquiries, follow-ups, and next actions together, so whoever picks up a conversation has the context to take over.
How it is built
Production details
that hold up.
- Multi-tenant data isolation, with retrieval scoped to each business
- Consent handling and unsubscribe across outreach
- Signed webhooks, rate limiting, and human escalation paths
- Automated evaluations of agent answers and browser regression checks
The same building blocks carry into client work: intake, structured extraction, review before anything important is sent, integrations, and follow-up.
